Little Windmills take part in two fundraising events to raise money for other charities. In the Summer term we take part in ‘The Big Toddle’. This raises money for the children’s charity Barnados and we toddle, walk or indeed run around our playing field in Reach which is about 100 yards away from the village hall. In 2011 we raised £123 for Barnados doing the Big Toddle. We enjoyed toddling round the sports field, received certificates and medals and enjoyed a picnic in the sunshine afterwards.
For Children In Need this year, everyone came dressed in spots, we cooked and decorated Pudsey bear biscuits and sold them to our parents and carers at the end of the session raising £23.
